Hi guys,

I'm looking at getting my firearm license to do this two of the items I need are a firearm awareness cert and a letter from a club or what not?

Just wondering if other West Aussies can help me out and tell me what they did to fulfill these requirements?

I have never heard of a Firearms Awareness Certificate.

There is a recent requirement for a Firearms Servicability Certificate though. Club support letters are gotten from fields.

Ring Cheryl at Action Paintball Games WA, she will be able to point you in the right directions.

This is a new requirement bubba. Depending on where you are I would advise you ring Lone Rangers Shooting Gallery as they do the Test . be aware tho you must get the first 3 questions right and you cannot get more then 3 questions wrong.

This test was usually done at the police station where you submitted your application. Now that they have moved it the Post Office, you will need to do the cert at a gun club/dealer (ie Lone Rangers, etc...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh now I understand, it's just the 20Q multiple choice test. Yes, you must get the first 3 questions correct. It's mostly just common sense though.
